Breakfast is complimentary for all campers. Please request your time of breakfast delivery at least 48 hours in advance of checking in. Please also inform us of any dietary requirements you have so we can be sure to accommodate you.

In-Tent Dining Service

Campers are welcome to order food & beverage items off our in-tent dining menu. To ensure availability, we recommend you place your order prior at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it going to be hot in the tents if I camp in summer?

No, we have split system air conditioning in every tent to keep you cool. If the weather turns, there are electric blankets in the bed to stay cosy!

Do I need to bring any of my own bedding? 

No, all beds are dressed with premium linen and extra blankets are provided. You’ll also find towels and robes in your tent for your use.

Do you have showers?

Yes, we have nine amenity units with toilet and shower facilities located on the site. You will find towels in your tent, as well as slippers and robes.

Do I need to bring my own toiletries?

All bathrooms are stocked with ASPAR hand soap, moisturiser, shampoo and conditioner.

Do you have a hairdryer?

Yes. You can request one at anytime from Reception.

Do I need to pre-purchase food and beverage items?

If you’d like to order food or drinks, we always recommend you pre-order them to ensure availability. Alternatively, you can order them off your in-tent menu once you arrive.

Do you accept cash or credit card at the General Store?

We are a cashless environment. Should you order anything during your stay, we will charge it to your tent and you can settle the bill upon check out.

What time is check in? Can I check in early?

Check in time is 3pm, however, if you arrive earlier, luggage storage is available. A request for early check-in can be made with reservations, but cannot be guaranteed and additional charges may apply.

What time is check-out? Is there a charge for late check-out?

Check-out time is 11am. Late check-outs are available for an additional fee. Please contact camp@stjeromesthehotel.com.au should you like to organise a 1pm departure.

 

 

Can I bring some tea light candles to dress up our tent/garden?

Unfortunately, no. The rooftop is a complete no-fire, no-smoking zone.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

No, unfortunately we are not licensed for BYO. However, we have a selection of beers, ciders, wines, and cocktails available for purchase at The General Store.

Can we bring our child/children?

Yes, we are kid friendly! We can provide an air mattress and extra bedding at an additional charge of $50. Children must be under adult supervision at all times whilst onsite.

How do I change or cancel my booking?

Please contact +61 406 118 561 for all cancellation enquiries or requests. Please note that we have a 14-day cancellation policy. If you wish to move the date of your reservation, a fee may apply.

Do you have any cooking facilities?

We don’t have any cooking facilities onsite, however, there are many places we recommend guests to explore within Melbourne Central and the CBD.

What are the opening hours of the General Store?

The General Store is open from 3pm – 11pm every night.

Is there any internet access on site?

Yes, we have free WiFi available across the site.

Do you have smoking tents?

No, we have a strict non-smoking policy across the entire site.

Can I hire out the whole site for a private function?

Yes. For all hire enquiries, please contact camp@stjeromesthehotel.com.au.

Where do I find the hotel in Melbourne Central?

We are located on Level 3, just next door to Strike Bowling and the Lion Hotel. You can find a detailed map of the centre HERE.

Where can I park my car?

We offer you discounted overnight parking at Wilson Parking, an offsite car park located at 300 La Trobe Street ($35 for 24-hours). You do not need to pre-purchase parking. Once you enter the car park you will receive an entry ticket. When you check out of the hotel, you can purchase an exit ticket for $35 – which will allow you to exit the parking structure.
